My name is Kat and I am the founder of Make It Count Creative Solutions. I am an experienced writer and website designer based in Springboro, Ohio.

My career path has always been guided by service and helping others. I worked as a school psychologist for several years, then I later became interested in health and wellness. After starting a health-based business, I met many amazing business owners in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. I quickly became aware of how overwhelming it is for owners to wear so many hats. Ultimately, the technology and marketing side of business is often the most daunting. That is when I became passionate about helping business owners build and grow an online presence that they love and can feel confident about.

I have worked in social media and marketing for several years across many industries. With a background in Marketing & Management Information Systems, I enjoy both the creative side of social media content creation as well as the strategic side of analyzing the results. I love working with local small businesses to increase their brand awareness and increase their profitability.

I am an experienced content writer with 7+ years of professional writing experience. I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from Wright State University and have worked alongside companies in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. I am passionate about community and enjoy using the power of words to not only cause people to react but to take initiative.

I am an experienced graphic designer and content creator. After receiving my Graphic Design B.F.A. and Marketing minor from Ohio University, I have worked with a variety of companies within and outside of the Dayton, Ohio area. Giving Back

2% of web design profits are donated to a local charity

Even before our name was Make It Count Creative Solutions, I knew that I wanted to find a way to give back to my community. So, I am committing to donating 2% of profits from web design projects to local charities. My hope is that as I grow I can expand this commitment and find more ways to “Make It Count”.

The organization that we have chosen to support in 2023 and 2024 is:

Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals (SICSA) – Facilitates adoption of companion animals, and nurturing loving, lifelong relationships between animals and people. Over 2,000 dogs and cats are adopted into loving homes from their organization annually.
